How to book your stay at Moulin de Chatressac
You can book directly on our website.
Our accommodations are very popular, particularly in peak season (July–August). We suggest booking early to ensure your spot!
When can I check in and check out?
Check-in: From 4:00 PM
Check-out: Before 11:00 AM – Arrivals and departures are flexible—no specific days required.
Can I modify or cancel my booking ?
Modifications: Possible by contacting us directly.
Cancellations: Conditions depend on your reservation. Please check your confirmation email or contact us for details.
💡 Tip: We recommend taking out travel insurance for peace of mind.
What is the minimum length of stay ?
Lower season : Minimum 3 nights (Except for our Cordouan flat where 2 nights are possible).
July-August : Minimum 1 week.

What type of accommodations do you offer ?
sWe offer 4 charming gîtes located in an historic water mill :
- Gîte Oléron (up to 4 guests, 81 m²) : 2 bedrooms, living room, equipped kitchen, terrasse.
- Gîte Aix (up to 4 guests, 100 m²) : 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms, terrasse.
- Gîte Île de Ré (2 to 4 guests, 105 m²) : 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms, kitchenette space.
- Gîte Cordouan (2 to 3 guests, 47 m²) : Loft with mezzanine, 1 double bed and 1 single, kitchenette.
Are the accommodations suitable for guests with reduced mobility?
Our cottages are located in a historic water mill with stairs (especially for the upper floors). If you are traveling with guests with reduced mobility, young children, or seniors, please contact us before booking. We will work together to find solutions to make your stay easier.
Is there air conditioning in the accommodations?
Our cottages do not have air conditioning, but electric heating is provided in winter. Thanks to the mill’s thick walls, the interiors remain pleasantly cool during the summer months.
Are linens provided ?
Yes, bed linen and towels are provided and included in the price. A baby cot can be made available upon request.

Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept credit cards, bank transfers, and cash.
Are tourist taxes included in the rates?
Yes, tourist taxes are included in our rates, along with the final cleaning, provision of bed linen, and access to the pool.

- 13×6 m swimming pool (open during the summer season)

Yes, free wifi is available in all our accomodations.

Where can I rent bicycles?
We provide a storage area for your bikes, but we do not offer rentals on-site.

We do not accept pets in our accommodations, to maintain a comfortable and clean environment for all our guests.

How to get to Moulin de Chatressac ?
Adress : Moulin de Chatressac, Chaillevette, Charente-Maritime, France.
Directions :
- From Royan, head towards La Palmyre.
- Follow the signs to Chaillevette.
- In the center of the village, follow the directions to the port of Chatressac.
- Moulin de Chatressac is located on the banks of the Seudre River, near the oyster port.
